Hisense has reinforced its position as a leader in the premium home entertainment market, retaining the top spot globally in the 100-inch-and-above TV segment during the first quarter of 2026. According to the latest Omdia data, the company captured 55.2% of the worldwide market for ultra-large-screen televisions, highlighting its continued strength in the growing category.

The achievement comes as Hisense continues to expand its portfolio of premium display technologies. The company’s latest lineup includes the UXS, UR9, and UR8 series, all built around its RGB MiniLED platform. Hisense positions itself as the originator of RGB MiniLED technology and has introduced its Chromagic imaging technology to deliver what it describes as more natural and realistic colours, improved viewing comfort, and greater energy efficiency.
At the top of the range, the UXS serves as the brand’s flagship showcase for its latest television innovations, while the UR9 is designed to deliver a high-end cinematic viewing experience through advanced RGB MiniLED technology. The newly introduced UR8 series broadens access to RGB MiniLED displays, bringing premium picture quality to a wider range of consumers.
Beyond its RGB MiniLED offerings, Hisense continues to enhance its MiniLED television portfolio through models such as the U7 and U6 Pro. Equipped with the company’s Hi-QLED MiniLED technology, these televisions combine advanced local dimming capabilities with proprietary light control systems to produce richer colours, deeper blacks, and improved detail. The result is a more immersive viewing experience with stronger contrast and enhanced picture performance.
Hisense is also pushing forward in the laser display segment, further strengthening its position in large-format home entertainment. The recently launched XR10 flagship laser projector is capable of delivering cinematic-scale visuals on screens measuring up to 300 inches, combining high brightness, vibrant colour reproduction, and long-term reliability for dedicated home theatre setups.
Looking ahead, the company is preparing to introduce the L9Q Pro Laser TV and PX4 Pro Laser Cinema, both of which are expected to showcase the next generation of Hisense laser display technology. These upcoming products aim to deliver brighter images, refined colour accuracy, and premium audiovisual performance for home cinema enthusiasts seeking an ultra-large-screen experience.
From RGB MiniLED televisions to laser projection systems, Hisense continues to focus on delivering larger displays, more lifelike colours, and increasingly immersive entertainment experiences, reinforcing its position as a major player in the global premium display market.
