ASUS has officially introduced the new ASUS ExpertBook Ultra at the Next Enterprise Summit 2026, positioning it as its most advanced AI-powered business laptop to date. Designed for professionals, executives, and enterprise users, the latest addition to the ExpertBook lineup combines an ultra-lightweight design with flagship-level performance, advanced AI capabilities, and enterprise-grade security.

Unveiled during the Next Enterprise Summit 2026, which gathered more than 1,000 industry leaders and technology partners, the ASUS ExpertBook Ultra is a Copilot+ PC built around Intel’s latest Core Ultra X7 Series 3 processors. Despite weighing as little as 0.99kg and measuring just 10.9mm thin, ASUS claims the laptop delivers sustained CPU performance of up to 50W thanks to its ExpertCool Pro thermal system.
The chassis is constructed from aerospace-grade AZ31B magnesium-aluminium alloy and features ASUS Nano Ceramic Technology for enhanced durability and scratch resistance. ASUS also says the ExpertBook Ultra is the world’s smallest-footprint 14-inch laptop while still accommodating a 70Wh battery that can provide up to 26 hours of battery life. Fast charging support allows users to gain up to six hours of productivity from a 15-minute charge.

Powering the laptop is up to an Intel Core Ultra X7-358H processor paired with an Intel Arc B390 integrated GPU and a dedicated 50 TOPS NPU, delivering a total AI performance of up to 180 TOPS. The system supports up to 64GB LPDDR5x memory running at 9600MT/s and up to a 2TB PCIe Gen 5 SSD, enabling fast data access and AI workloads directly on the device.
For visuals, the ExpertBook Ultra features a 14-inch 3K (2,880 x 1,800) touchscreen display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate. Buyers can choose between Tandem OLED and Polymer OLED panel options. The Tandem OLED version offers peak HDR brightness of up to 1,400 nits while consuming less power than conventional OLED panels. ASUS has also equipped the laptop with Gorilla Glass Matte technology to reduce reflections and improve visibility in bright environments.
Multimedia capabilities are enhanced by a six-speaker Dolby Atmos audio system, while productivity-focused features include a spill-resistant keyboard with 1.5mm key travel and a large edge-to-edge haptic touchpad. Connectivity options include dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1, a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.0.
The ASUS ExpertBook Ultra also integrates ASUS’ MyExpert AI suite, which includes AI-powered meeting tools and a local knowledge hub. Security remains a key focus, with support for NIST SP 800-193 firmware resilience standards, a self-healing dual BIOS system, Microsoft Pluton security, TPM 2.0, fingerprint authentication, IR facial recognition, and a physical webcam shield.

ASUS says the ExpertBook Ultra is designed to meet the demands of modern AI-driven workflows while offering the portability expected from an ultralight business notebook. The company positions the device as a premium solution for professionals who require high performance, advanced security, and long battery life in a highly portable form factor.

The ASUS ExpertBook Ultra (B9406CAA) is now available in Malaysia, starting from RM7,999 through selected ASUS Business authorised retailers and the ASUS Official e-Store. Customers who purchase the laptop between 10 June and 31 July 2026 will also receive a complimentary RM500 Malaysia Airlines eGift Card as part of the Premier Launch Reward promotion.
