HONOR 9X Officially Launched in Malaysia

As mentioned a few days ago, the HONOR 9X finally made its official debut in Malaysia. This is the first HONOR smartphone with a pop-up camera, for a better visual experience.

The phone sports a 6.59-inch Full HD+ FullView display without a notch or camera cutout. Powering the phone is a Kirin 710F processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage.

In terms of camera, the phone has triple-camera setup on the back — 48MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP depth sensor. As for taking selfies, it has a 16MP pop-up camera with 3D Portrait Lighting feature.

The phone has a 4,000mAh battery and runs on EMUI 9.1.1 based on Android 9. Most importantly, it will come with Google Mobile Services (GMS) out of the box.

Pre-order for the HONOR 9X will begin on November 22nd on Hihonor and Lazada. The phone will officially go on sale online on November 28th (Hihonor, Lazada, and Shopee), and HONOR Experience Stores (HES) nationwide on November 29th.

Additionally, each pre-order of the HONOR 9X will receive a free HONOR Band 5 Sport and gift box or add on RM0.99 to get an HONOR Sport PRO wireless earphones. Customers who purchase the phone when it goes on sale will also receive the HONOR Band 5 Sport and gift box, and can also purchase the HONOR Sport PRO earphones for only RM199.

HONOR Malaysia has also announced that the HONOR Band 5 will be available in a new color — Olive Green, together with the prices of HONOR Band 5 Sport and HONOR Sport PRO earphones. The company also teased that there will be limited edition merchandise coming soon, collaborating with local streetwear label, Stoned and Co.
