Sony Xperia Ear Duo To Be Available in Malaysia on June 4th

The Sony Xperia Ear Duo was officially announced at MWC 2018, alongside with the Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact. Well, the company has just announced that this wireless stereo headset will be available in Malaysia on 4th June 2018.

The Xperia Ear Duo is a wireless stereo headset that features Dual Listening technology. It allows you to listen to music and receive notifications, whilst simultaneously hearing environmental sound or conversation.

Additionally, the Spatial Acoustic Conductor allows the sound generated behind the ear by the unit´s driver to be transmitted directly into the ear.

Powered by Sony’s “CXD5602” chip and a sophisticated multi-sensor platform, the Xperia Ear Duo comes with Daily Assist feature. This feature will recognize time, location and activities to offer relevant information throughout the day.

Furthermore, it also responds to head gesture, allowing you to answer or decline incoming calls by shaking or nodding your head or skip through music by shaking your head left and right. You can also control your music and volume by simply tapping and scrolling on the device.

The headset is IPX2 splash proof and comes with up to 4 hours of battery life on a single charge. Like Apple’s AirPods, the case also doubles as a charger, which also offers fast charging.

The Sony Xperia Ear Duo will be available at the retail price of RM1,199 at selected Sony outlets. Color options wise, the headset comes in Black and Gold. Finally, the device is compatible with Android and iOS.
