Sony WI-1000XM2 Now Available in Malaysia

Sony has launched its new neckband earbuds called the WI-1000XM2. The earphones are touted to have the next level of silence with the newly developed HD Noise Cancelling Processor, the QN1. These earphones are the new generations in the 1000X family, delivering superior sound quality and all-day comfort. The Noise Cancelling tech in these earphones can cleverly prevent, catch and cancel out ambient sound. This is due to the Dual Noise Sensor that first catches ambient noise and then subsequently canceled out by the QN1 processor. This system is also able to adapt effectively in high altitudes of an airplane cabin, with its Atmospheric Pressure Optimising function.

The WI-1000XM2 earphones also despite their size, features an HD Hybrid Driver System which includes a 9mm dynamic driver and Balanced Armature driver that reproduces clear sound from deep bass to delicate high tones to accentuate stunning and wide range frequencies. It also features a 32-bit Audio Signal Processing, high-quality Digital-to-Analogue conversion, and a headphone amplifier for a high signal-to-noise ratio, with low levels of distortion. There is also Digital Sound Enhancement Engine HX (DSEE HX) that upscales compressed digital music files.

Overall, the earphones weigh just approx. 58g, fitted with silicone neckband for improved comfort, especially for long hours of listening. Speaking of long hours, the earphones are able to last up to 10 hours and have quick charging capabilities. It is also able to be used hands-free thanks to a built-in microphone unit in the neckband.

The WI-1000XM2 is now available in Malaysia in all Sony Stores, Sony Store Online, Sony Centres and selected authorized dealers. These sweet beauties retail at only RM1,299.
