Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2_1

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 was announced last month at the Galaxy Unpacked event alongside the Galaxy Note20 series, though the company didn’t share much info. At the Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 event, mainly for the Galaxy Z Fold2, the Korean giant tech company has shared more info about the next foldable device.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2

The Galaxy Z Fold2 comes with a new refined design, it now has a larger 6.2-inch Infinity-O cover screen. When unfolded, there’s a 7.6-inch OLED main screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The front camera on the main screen is also a small camera cutout as well.

Samsung has re-engineered the Galaxy Fold2 with a sleek, unified design that delivers a smooth, high-end feel. The main screen is now using Samsung Ultra Thin Glass, just like the Galaxy Z Flip. It has a new Hideaway Hinge, which found on the Galaxy Z Flip, and you can customize it with four colors — Metallic Silver, Metallic Gold, Metallic Red, and Metallic Blue.

Additionally, the device also comes with an improved App Continuity feature and Flex mode, which lets you have the flexibility to switch in between both screens. You can use the main and cover screen at the same time with Dual Preview, both parties can see what’s being captured. You can also take a high-quality selfie with the rear cameras with the Cover Screen acting as the viewfinder.

The Galaxy Z Fold2 also offers flagship-level camera quality and control. It even comes with an Auto Framing feature when recording video, so you can just put the device flat on the surface. There’s also an improved Multi-Active Window to control your screen layout with more ease and flexibility. With an improved Multi-Window Tray, you can open multiple apps at once with the integration of App Pair and the Edge Panel to enjoy added convenience. With drag and drop, you can simply drag text, images, and documents from one app to another for instant transfer. Or quickly screen capture in one app and transfer the captured image into another seamlessly with Split Screen Capture.
