Besides the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3, Samsung also announced a pair of wireless earbuds — the Samsung Galaxy Buds2. The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 are the company’s lightest earbuds to date and they come with a new design, as well as active noise cancellation.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 come with dynamic two-way speakers each — a woofer and a tweeter. Each bud now comes with three microphones responsible for active noise cancellation. There’s also a dedicated Voice pickup unit (VPU) that helps filter in only your voice to the other party and not external noises.
Samsung claims that active noise cancellation can block up to 98% of noise. The earbuds now come with machine learning-based solutions and adapt to external sounds like cars, wind, emergency vehicles. Samsung has also worked on the Ambient Modes, in case you want to hear what’s going on around you.
Just recently, Samsung has added the Galaxy Buds app on Microsoft Store, which allows users to set noise control and the equalizer with their PC. The Buds2’s case is pretty similar to the one of the Buds Pro and it has the same battery capacity too — 472mAh (each bud has a 61mAh battery). The case is always white, but the Galaxy Buds2 actually come in four colors — Graphite, White, Oliver Green, and Lavender.
As of now, the pricing and availability of the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 in Malaysia are still unknown. We’ll keep you posted when we got more information.
