Lenovo Launches New Tablet Line-Up in Malaysia, Prices Start at RM2,299
Lenovo Malaysia has announced the availability of its latest tablet line-up, comprising the Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2, Yoga Tab Gen 2, Idea Tab Pro Gen 2, Tab Plus Gen 2, and Legion Tab Gen 5. The new tablets cater to different users, offering features for productivity, learning, entertainment, creative work, and mobile gaming.
The latest line-up reflects the company’s “Smarter AI for All” vision, with AI-powered features and versatile designs that enhance everyday digital experiences.
Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2
The Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 is designed for creators and professionals who require a powerful tablet for creative work, multitasking, and collaboration. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform with Qualcomm Oryon CPU, delivering high performance alongside multimodal AI capabilities.
The tablet features a 13-inch 4K PureSight Pro display, providing a detailed workspace for illustration, editing, and note-taking. It also supports an all-in-one magnetic clamshell keyboard, allowing users to switch between a pen-focused creative experience and a more traditional productivity setup.
Additionally, the tablet comes with a Harman Kardon audio system and supports the Tab Pen Pro 2. It also offers shared creation, transcription, and cross-device features across Lenovo’s new Yoga tablet portfolio.

For users who prioritise portability, the Lenovo Yoga Tab Gen 2 features an 11-inch display and weighs just 480g. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s with native AI optimisation, supporting activities such as sketching, note-taking, productivity, and entertainment.
The tablet supports the Tab Pen Pro 2 and a detachable 2-in-1 keyboard pack, enabling users to switch between creative tasks and keyboard-based productivity.
With its lightweight design, the Yoga Tab Gen 2 is positioned as a portable option for users who need a versatile tablet for everyday use.

Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2
The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 is designed primarily for students, offering AI-powered learning features and productivity tools. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Mobile Platform and is the first tablet to feature Lenovo Qira, which is scheduled to arrive later in 2026.
Its AI-powered learning workflow includes Smarter Reader, which allows students to select key content to generate summaries and explanations. Selected sections are automatically saved to Lenovo Notepad, where Lenovo AI Notes helps organise key points and support further writing.
The tablet also supports live transcription of lectures and conversations. Meanwhile, its 2-in-1 keyboard pack features a dedicated Smart Key that activates Lenovo Smart AI Input for text generation and translation using natural language prompts.
For its display, the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 features a 13-inch 3.5K PureSight Pro panel with Dolby Vision. It also comes with a quad JBL speaker system tuned with Dolby Atmos. A matte display option with anti-glare technology and constant contrast is available for extended reading.
The tablet measures 6.20mm in thickness and weighs under 600g. It is equipped with a 10,200mAh battery and supports 45W rapid charging.

Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2
The Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 focuses on entertainment, featuring an upgraded audio system and display. It comes with a JBL 9-unit Pro speaker system tuned with Dolby Atmos, designed to provide immersive audio for movies, music, and streaming content.
The tablet also supports Bluetooth speaker mode, allowing users to play and control music or podcasts directly from their smartphones. Dolby Audio processing with Dynamic, Movie, and Music modes is included for different listening preferences.
On the visual side, the Tab Plus Gen 2 features a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with Dolby Vision and HDR10 support. It also offers up to 800 nits of brightness in High Brightness Mode for improved visibility in brighter environments.
The tablet features a 360-degree rotating kickstand with multiple positions, including lean, theatre, stand, and hanging modes. It can also function as a digital picture frame when in standby mode.
Other features include Lenovo AI Live Transcript with real-time translation, Smarter Reader, and AI Notes with Lenovo Notepad. The tablet is equipped with a 10,200mAh battery, offering up to 15 hours of YouTube video streaming, and supports 45W fast charging.
It is compatible with the Tab Pen Plus, Wireless Keyboard, and 68W USB-C Wall Charger, which are sold separately.

Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5
The Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5 is designed for mobile gamers who require high performance in a compact form factor. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform and features an 8.8-inch 3K display with a 165Hz refresh rate and up to 600 nits typical brightness.
The tablet supports up to 16GB of 10,667Mbps RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It also comes with a 9,000mAh battery and supports 68W charging.
To maintain performance during demanding gaming sessions, Lenovo has equipped the device with its updated Legion Coldfront Vapor cooling system, which offers up to 32% higher heat dissipation efficiency compared to the previous-generation Legion Tab.
The Legion Tab also features Lenovo AI Engine+ software, which uses AI to enhance critical in-game sounds, provide noise cancellation for voice chats, and adjust touch sensitivity based on scene analysis.
Weighing just 360g, the tablet features two USB-C ports that support simultaneous charging and peripheral connections.
