HUAWEI Smart Office 2022: New MatePad 10.4, MateBook D15, and More

At HUAWEI Smart Office 2022 Launch, HUAWEI Malaysia has launched five new products — the MatePad 10.4, MateBook D15, PixLab X1, WiFi Mesh 3, and Sound Joy. Most of these products were announced at the company’s Spring 2022 Smart Office Launch.

HUAWEI MatePad 10.4 (2022)

The new MatePad 10.4 is the company’s latest mid-range tablet, sporting a 10.4-inch (2,000 x 1,200 px) IPS display and runs on HarmonyOS 2.0. Powering the tablet is the company’s own Kirin 710A processor, which is a 4-year-old chipset.

The tablet still supports HUAWEI M-Pencil and HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard. It also has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera in case you need them for capturing documents or video conferencing. The tablet has a 7,250mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging.

MateBook D15 (2021)

The MateBook D15 is now powered by up to the 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processor with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. It still sports a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display, just like the previous iterations.

In terms of ports and connectivity, the MateBook D15 has a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, two USB-A 2.0 ports, a USB-C port, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. The laptop has an HD recessed camera. Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.1. It packs a 42Wh battery and runs on Windows 11 Home.

HUAWEI PixLab X1

The PixLab X1 is HUAWEI’s first laser printer. It prints, scans, and copies, making it perfect for both homes and small offices. Functions like Pop-up Pairing, Tap to Print, and Remote Printing makes using the printer easy together with HUAWEI phones and tablets. The PixLab X1 is also the industry’s first printer to feature a toner cartridge drawer design for easy pigment replacement.

HUAWEI WiFi Mesh 3

The HUAWEI WiFi Mesh 3 is a smart mesh Wi-Fi router that lets you monitor the visualized network coverage in your home or office through the HUAWEI AI Life app on your device. The app also shows your network coverage to ensure there are no internet dead zones in your house or office.

HUAWEI Sound Joy

The HUAWEI Sound Joy is the company’s first portable speaker co-engineered with Devialet, bringing stunning sound quality to users with its four-speaker-unit system. With an 8800 mAh battery, it offers great battery life, supporting 26 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. It comes with IP67-grade water and dust resistance, allowing users to enjoy an amazing acoustic experience outdoors. It is available in two colors — Obsidian Black and Spruce Green.

Pricing & Availability

In terms of pricing and availability, only the MatePad 10.4 and MateBook D15 are now available in Malaysia.

The MatePad 10.4 will be available for pre-order from 22nd April to 2nd May, retailing at RM1,599. Each pre-order will receive freebies worth up to RM898 including HUAWEI M-Pencil 2nd Generation and HUAWEI Smart Keyboard. You can pre-order the tablet from Lazada and Shopee.
