Huawei Malaysia has officially introduced a new lineup of smart devices, led by the flagship HUAWEI MatePad Pro Max tablet. The launch also includes the HUAWEI nova 15 Max smartphone, HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 Series, and HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition, expanding the company’s ecosystem across productivity, entertainment, family connectivity, and fitness.
HUAWEI MatePad Pro Max
Taking centre stage is the new HUAWEI MatePad Pro Max, which Huawei claims is the world’s thinnest and lightest tablet, measuring just 4.7mm thin and weighing 509g.
The MatePad Pro Max features a 13.2-inch 3K Flexible OLED PaperMatte Display with a 94% screen-to-body ratio, delivering an immersive viewing experience while reducing glare through Huawei’s latest PaperMatte technology. The nano-level etching treatment is also designed to improve visibility and reduce eye strain during extended usage.
Huawei is positioning the MatePad Pro Max as a productivity-focused device, thanks to AI-powered PC-level WPS Office capabilities, enhanced multitasking tools, and support for online collaboration. When paired with the HUAWEI Glide Keyboard and M-Pencil Pro, the tablet can function as a portable workstation for both professional and creative users.
The HUAWEI MatePad Pro Max is now available for pre-order in Malaysia at RM5,999. Customers who pre-order will receive complimentary gifts worth up to RM3,154, including the Huawei M-Pencil Pro, Huawei mouse, WPS AI, Huawei Notes subscription, one-year APAC warranty, and one-year PaperMatte Display Care coverage.
HUAWEI nova 15 Max
Huawei also unveiled the nova 15 Max, a new smartphone designed for users seeking a balance between performance, entertainment, and style.
The device comes with a large 8,500mAh battery paired with a Kirin 8000 Series chipset. Huawei says the combination is designed to deliver reliable all-day performance while supporting demanding daily workloads and entertainment needs.
At the front, the nova 15 Max features a 6.84-inch OLED Eye Comfort Display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4,000 nits peak brightness. Audio is handled by symmetrical stereo dual speakers capable of reaching up to 85dB.
The smartphone is also equipped with a 50MP RYYB Ultra-Clear Camera and carries SGS 5-Star Drop Resistance Premium Performance certification, alongside IP65 water and dust resistance.
The HUAWEI nova 15 Max is available now in Malaysia for RM1,699. Early buyers can enjoy promotional gifts worth up to RM827, including a RM200 rebate and a Huawei Band 10.
HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 Series
Huawei is also expanding into the family smartwatch category with the new WATCH KIDS X1 Series.
Designed for younger users, the smartwatch range combines communication, safety, and entertainment features. It includes a 1.82-inch AMOLED display and front and rear HD cameras, while the higher-end WATCH KIDS X1 Pro adds a standalone camera setup.
The series is available in multiple colour options, including Pink and Blue for the X1, as well as Black and Purple for the X1 Pro. Huawei has also integrated real-time location tracking and communication tools aimed at helping parents stay connected with their children.
Pricing starts at RM999 for the WATCH KIDS X1 and RM1,599 for the WATCH KIDS X1 Pro. Both models are currently available for pre-order with promotional gifts worth up to RM808.
HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition
Completing the lineup is the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition, a sports-focused smartwatch developed for runners and fitness enthusiasts.
The wearable introduces Huawei’s enhanced Running Ability Index (RAI) and an upgraded Training Camp Dashboard, providing more detailed insights into training performance and race preparation.
Huawei says the lightweight design is optimised for long-distance comfort while maintaining durability for everyday use.
The WATCH GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition is priced at RM1,499 and comes bundled with promotional gifts worth up to RM491, including a fluororubber watch strap, three-month Huawei Health+ subscription, and one-year APAC warranty.
