It appears that HONOR Malaysia is planning to launch a phone by this month, specifically, the HONOR 9X. We just received an invitation to the launch of the phone on November 21.
The HONOR 9X was first unveiled in China, which sports a 6.59-inch Full HD+ FullView display without a notch or camera cutout. In China, the phone packs a Kirin 810 processor, which could be a different chipset when it hits our shores. The phone comes with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage.
In terms of camera, the phone has triple-camera setup on the back — 48MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP depth sensor. As for taking selfies, it has a 16MP pop-up camera with 3D Portrait Lighting feature.
The phone has a 4,000mAh battery and runs on EMUI 9.1.1 based on Android 9. Most importantly, it will come with Google Mobile Services (GMS) out of the box. Stay tuned as we will be attending the launch.
