ASUS Malaysia Launches New ZenBook Range with 30th Anniversary Celebration

ASUS turns 30 this year! To celebrate its 30th anniversary, ASUS Malaysia today officially launched a range of new ZenBook, a total of four different models, actually.

First up is the ZenBook Edition 30, which is a special 30th-anniversary edition ZenBook 13. It sports a 13.3-inch Full HD LED NanoEdge display with up to 95% screen-to-body ratio. The laptop packs up to an Intel Core i7-8565U processor with NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics, up to 1TB PCIe SSD, and up to 8GB RAM.

It also features ScreenPad 2.0 display touchpad, which has a 5.65-inch touchscreen. It comes with a collection of handy ASUS utilities to boost productivity. Third-party developers can also use the ASUS API to optimize their software and user experiences for ScreenPad 2.0.

The ZenBook Edition 30 is a special, limited production run model that features luxurious design accents including a genuine leather lid cover and an 18-karat rose gold plated logo, and exclusively equipped with a complete set of premium accessories. The laptop will retail from RM5,199 onwards.

ASUS ZenBook 13/14/15

The new ZenBook 13 (UX334), ZenBook 14 (UX434), and ZenBook 15 (UX534) are quite similar to the Edition 30, but it comes with different sizes and a more traditional ZenBook design. These laptops also come with ScreenPad 2.0.

In terms of pricing, the ZenBook 13 will retail from RM4,399, the ZenBook 14 will retail from RM4,499, and the ZenBook 15 will retail from RM6,499.

Next up is the ASUS ZenBook Duo (UX481), which sports a 14-inch Full HD Pantone Validated IPS LCD (non-touch) display. The laptop packs up to an Intel Core i7-10510U processor with NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics, up to 512GB PCIe SSD, and up to 16GB DDR4 RAM.

The laptop also features the new ASUS ScreenPad Plus, a revolutionary full-width secondary touchscreen that expands and enhances the interactive capabilities offered by the original ScreenPad. It’s a full-width secondary touchscreen that works seamlessly with the main 14-inch FHD display, giving you endless ways to optimize and personalize your workflow. A series of handy built-in apps help boost your productivity.

The ASUS ZenBook Duo (UX481) will retail from RM4,699, a fair price for the world’s first dual-screen laptop.

Lastly, ASUS Malaysia also launched the ZenBook Pro Duo (UX581). It sports a 15.6-inch 4K OLED display with an 89% screen-to-body ratio. Similar to the ZenBook Duo (UX481), the laptop also features ASUS ScreenPad Plus. The ZenBook Pro Duo packs up to an Intel Core i9-9980HK processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics, up to 1TB PCIe SSD, and up to 32GB DDR4 RAM.

As the laptop packs such high-performance specs, it’s no surprise that the laptop will cost you a lot. Retailing at RM12,999, this is not a laptop that targets for average consumers, but more for those who are willing to spend for innovations.
