HONOR Malaysia today officially launched the HONOR 8C in Malaysia. Additionally, the company also introduced the new ambassador, or should we call it as catbassador, since it’s a cat. The company is giving Malaysians a chance to win the phone by naming its latest catbassador via a cat-naming contest.
The phone sports a 6.26-inch 19:9 HD+ display with a notch on top. The screen also comes with a TüV Rheinland Certified eye-care mode. Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage.
Furthermore, the phone comes with a dual-camera setup on its back — 13MP f/1.8 camera + 2MP depth sensor. Selfie wise, there’s an 8MP front camera with soft flash.
The phone packs a 4,000mAh battery, which should be able to last through a day or two easily. It runs on EMUI 8.2 based on Android Oreo, no news on the Pie update, though.
Officially retails at RM599, the HONOR 8C will be available exclusively at Lazada Birthday Sales on 27th March 2019. The first 1,000 customers who purchase the phone will get an exclusive recycle. The phone will be available nationwide from 5th April 2019 onwards in three colors: blue, black, and gold.
