Say hello to the new Google Pixel 4a, the latest affordable Pixel device you can get right now, not quite if you are in Malaysia. Just like the Pixel 3a, the main selling point of this year’s 4a is still its camera.
The Pixel 4a sports a 5.81-inch Full HD+ OLED display with the punch-hole camera. This time around, it only available in one color — Just Black, which has a plastic matte finishing. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
In terms of camera, the Pixel 4a has a single 12.2MP dual-pixel rear camera with 1.4 μm pixel size and f/1.7 aperture. Selfie wise, it has an 8MP f/2.0 fixed focus front camera. You can expect it to have the same camera experience as the flagship Pixel, but it’ll take a longer time to process images.
The phone packs a 3,140mAh battery with 18W fast charging. It runs on Android 10 with pure Pixel experience and Google promised it to have at least 3 years of OS and security updates.
The Pixel 4a is retailing at $349, which is even lower than the OnePlus Nord, but I don’t think the phone will be available in Malaysia officially.
