HONOR officially debuts its latest “accessible flagship” lineup in Malaysia, the HONOR 600 Series. Comprising the HONOR 600 and HONOR 600 Pro, this new generation aims to blur the line between mid-range and premium devices by packing in high-end hardware, next-gen AI features, and standout endurance.
Right out of the gate, the HONOR 600 Series positions itself as a camera powerhouse. Both models are anchored by a massive 200MP Super Sensing main sensor with a large 1/1.4-inch size, promising improved light capture and detail. The HONOR 600 Pro takes things further with a dedicated 50MP telephoto camera capable of up to 120x zoom, paired with industry-leading CIPA 6.5 image stabilisation. Even the standard HONOR 600 holds its ground with up to 30x zoom, while the enhanced Night Engine ensures better colour preservation and controlled highlights in low-light conditions. On the front, a 50MP selfie shooter rounds out a setup clearly designed for both creators and everyday users.
Beyond traditional photography, HONOR is pushing creative boundaries with its upgraded AI Image to Video 2.0 feature. This system introduces a unified multi-modal video generation model that allows users to turn still images into short video clips using natural language prompts. With the ability to combine up to three images, customise storytelling prompts, and apply cinematic templates, the feature brings a new layer of creativity without relying on third-party apps. It’s a clear sign that AI is no longer just an enhancement—it’s becoming central to the smartphone experience.
Performance is another area where the HONOR 600 Series makes a strong statement. The HONOR 600 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, marking the first time the N Series adopts a flagship-tier chipset. This translates to significant gains in both CPU and GPU performance, making it well-suited for demanding tasks and gaming. Meanwhile, the HONOR 600 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, offering a balanced mix of efficiency and power for everyday use while still delivering noticeable improvements over its predecessor.
The display experience is equally impressive. Both devices feature a 6.57-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and an eye-catching peak brightness of up to 8,000 nits. Whether under direct sunlight or in darker environments, the screen is designed to remain clear and comfortable thanks to features like Sunlight Mode and 3,840Hz PWM dimming. Combined with HDR support for platforms like Netflix and Amazon, the viewing experience leans firmly into flagship territory.
Battery life is another standout highlight. The inclusion of a massive 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery sets a new benchmark in this segment, easily supporting extended usage beyond a full day. Fast charging is equally robust, with 80W wired HONOR SuperCharge available on both models, alongside 27W reverse wired charging for powering other devices. The Pro model adds 50W wireless charging, making it a more complete package for users who prefer cable-free convenience.
Durability hasn’t been overlooked either. The HONOR 600 Series introduces IP69K certification to the N Series for the first time, alongside IP68 and SGS 5-star drop and crush resistance ratings. This combination ensures the devices are not only resistant to water and dust but also built to withstand everyday accidents, offering added peace of mind for users.
Running on MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, the series also integrates a wide range of AI-powered productivity tools. Features like AI Writing, AI Translate, AI Summary, and AI Recorder are complemented by Google Gemini integration, enabling smarter interactions and improved workflow efficiency. HONOR’s ecosystem features, including HONOR Share with iOS compatibility, further enhance cross-device usability.
