HONOR is clearly reshaping its strategy with the N Series, pushing it beyond the traditional mid-range space into something far more ambitious. With the HONOR 600 Series, the brand is introducing what it calls an “Accessible Flagship” — a device that blends premium features with a much more approachable price point. The unit we’re looking at today is the base HONOR 600, powered by the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, and on paper, it already looks like it’s punching well above its weight.
Design

Right out of the box, the HONOR 600 delivers a premium in-hand feel. The device features a slim 7.8mm profile paired with a matte metal frame, giving it that flagship-level refinement you’d expect from higher-end devices. One of the standout engineering feats here is HONOR’s integrated Cold-Carving Process, which allows the back panel to be just 0.5mm thin while boosting bending strength by an impressive 200 percent.
The front of the phone is equally striking, thanks to ultra-thin bezels measuring just 0.98mm — among the slimmest in the industry. Durability is another area where HONOR has gone all in. For the first time in the N Series, the HONOR 600 comes with IP69K certification, alongside IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it highly resistant to both water and dust. It’s also backed by an SGS 5-Star Premium Performance Certification for drop and crush resistance, offering peace of mind for everyday use.
The phone is available in three finishes — Orange, Golden White, and Black — each bringing its own personality while maintaining that premium aesthetic.
Display

The HONOR 600 features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a sharp resolution of 2728 x 1264 pixels. But the real headline here is its peak brightness of up to 8,000 nits — a first for the N Series — making it incredibly easy to view even under harsh sunlight.
HONOR has also doubled down on eye comfort technologies. The display includes advanced features such as 3,840Hz PWM dimming for flicker-free viewing in low light, AI brightness adjustment that adapts to your surroundings, and dynamic dimming to reduce eye strain during extended use. Combined with blue light filtering, this makes the HONOR 600 one of the more eye-friendly displays in its class.
Snapdragon 7 Gen 4

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset powers the HONOR 600, paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. In real-world usage, the performance uplift is noticeable, with a 27 percent improvement in CPU performance and a 30 percent boost in GPU capabilities compared to its predecessor.
This translates into smooth multitasking, responsive app launches, and a solid gaming experience. While it’s not quite flagship-tier silicon, it gets surprisingly close, especially for the price segment it’s targeting.
MagicOS 10

Running on MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, the HONOR 600 is packed with a wide array of AI-driven features. From productivity tools like AI Summary, AI Notes, and AI Recorder to more advanced capabilities such as AI Translate and AI Writing, the software experience feels modern and intelligent.

HONOR also integrates features like Circle to Search, Magic Portal, and Magic Capsule, enhancing overall usability. On the security front, AI Deepfake and Voice Cloning Detection add an extra layer of protection, which is increasingly relevant today.

One of the more creative additions is the upgraded AI Image to Video 2.0 feature. It now supports multiple images — up to three — allowing for more dynamic storytelling. You can also customise prompts easily and choose from a wide range of templates, including travel, animation, and even pet-themed content, complete with cinematic effects and transitions.
Camera

The HONOR 600 brings a serious upgrade to its camera system, headlined by a 200MP Super Sensing main camera with a large 1/1.4-inch sensor — one of the biggest in its class. This results in a 24 percent increase in light sensitivity, delivering cleaner, more detailed shots, especially in low-light conditions.
It also supports up to 30x zoom with AI Super Zoom 2.0, kicking in from 7x zoom. Its main camera also comes with CIPA 6.0 image stablisation for clearer handheld shooting.
Complementing the main sensor is a 12MP ultra-wide camera, which does the job, though it’s not quite as impressive as the primary shooter.
On the software side, HONOR brings over several flagship-grade imaging features. The Night Engine enhances clarity in dark scenes, while AI Enhanced Night Portrait improves skin tones, lighting, and bokeh effects. The AI Color Engine ensures accurate colour reproduction using a 360-degree AWB system, and Magic Color lets you apply different visual styles inspired by popular camera brands in real time.
There’s also Magic Pose, which intelligently suggests poses during portrait shots — a small but surprisingly useful addition.
Battery Life

Battery life is another area where the HONOR 600 truly stands out. It packs a massive 7,000mAh Silicon Carbon battery — a first for the series — easily delivering one to two days of usage on a single charge.
HONOR’s AI Battery Scheduling Engine helps optimise power consumption based on usage patterns, while long-term durability is also impressive, with support for up to 1,600 charge cycles and an estimated lifespan of up to five years.
Charging is handled via 80W HONOR SuperCharge, with support for 27W wired reverse charging, even allowing you to top up other devices, including iPhones.
Final Words

Retailing at RM2,599 (12GB+512GB), the HONOR 600 makes a strong case for itself as a true accessible flagship. It brings together premium design, excellent durability, a standout display, solid performance, and a feature-rich AI experience, all wrapped in a package that feels far more expensive than it actually is.
Of course, there are minor compromises, such as the ultra-wide camera not quite matching the main sensor, but these are relatively small trade-offs in the bigger picture.
For what it offers, the HONOR 600 is easily one of the most compelling smartphones in its segment right now — and it’s hard to argue against its value. Don’t be surprised if this ends up being another bestseller for HONOR this year.
