CelcomDigi has announced that pre-orders for the Apple iPhone Duo in Malaysia will begin on 16 October 2026 at 8.00 pm, with the device officially going on sale on 23 October 2026.

Apple iPhone Duo: A Foldable iPhone with A20 Pro
The iPhone Duo is Apple’s first foldable smartphone, featuring a titanium frame and a 7.6-inch folding main display alongside a 5.4-inch cover display. Both screens support ProMotion technology and offer peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits.
The inner display features a custom nano-texture finish designed to reduce reflections and make the display crease less noticeable. When folded, the cover screen provides a more traditional smartphone experience, while unfolding the device reveals a larger display for multitasking and other activities.
Under the hood, the iPhone Duo is powered by Apple’s 2nm A20 Pro chip, featuring a six-core CPU, seven-core GPU and dual 16-core Neural Engines. Despite measuring just 5.2mm thick when unfolded, the device incorporates a custom vapour chamber cooling system to manage heat during demanding workloads.
For photography, the foldable iPhone features a dual 48MP rear camera system comprising a Fusion Main camera with up to 2x optical-quality zoom and an Ultra Wide camera with macro photography support. It also features a 12MP Center Stage front camera on the cover display, alongside an under-display camera on the inner screen.
The iPhone Duo runs iOS 27, which has been adapted for its foldable design. Features include an adaptive user interface, split-view multitasking and the ability to display two Home Screen pages simultaneously. Apple Pencil support is also planned for a future software update.
Other highlights include Touch ID integrated into the power button, IP68-rated dust and water resistance, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and mmWave 5G connectivity. Apple claims the device can deliver up to 31 hours of video playback using the inner display or up to 44 hours with the cover screen. Fast wired charging can bring the battery to 50% in 20 minutes.
In Malaysia, the iPhone Duo is available in Star White and Night Sky, with storage options ranging from 256GB to 2TB. Its official retail prices are as follows:
