At first glance, the new BMW 330Li M Sport shares the same kidney grille design and Adaptive LED headlights as the current 330i, however, a side-by-side comparison of the two cars will reveal an extension of the overall length of 4,819mm (+110mm) and wheelbase length of 2,961mm (+110mm) of the former car, while the height has been increased to 1,441mm (+6mm) over the latter car. The 330Li also comes equipped with M Aerodynamics and M Sport Packages, BMW Individual High Gloss Shadow Line, a set of 18-inch M light-alloy wheels in double-spoke style 848 M bicolor with mixed tires and run-flat tires, trapezoidal twin exhaust pipe finishers on the rear, along with a panoramic glass roof, and welcome light carpets on both sides.

Powering the BMW 330Li M Sport is BMW’s own TwinPower Turbo inline-4 petrol engine that can deliver a maximum output of 258bhp at 5,000 – 6,500rpm and peak torque of 400Nm at 1,550 – 4,400rpm. Delivering that power to the wheels is a Steptronic Sport transmission. The 330Li will complete the century run in just 6.2 seconds and will run all the way to an electronically limited 250km/h top speed. Other technical specifications include fuel economy that is rated at 6.4l/100km, while carbon emission is measured at 147g/km.

Moving to the interior, the BMW 330Li M Sport sports a décor of Aluminium Tetragon trim finishers and Pearl Chrome highlight finishers. The increased exterior dimensions of the new car are reflected on the inside as well; the height extension of 4mm is combined with an additional 42mm of legroom for rear passengers and 480-liter boot space. Other interior features include an M leather steering wheel and M-specific pedals, automatic anti-dazzle exterior and interior mirrors, electric seat adjustment with memory function for the driver’s seat, 11-theme ambient lighting, three-zone control automatic air-conditioning, and Comfort Access System.

Topping off the interior features is BMW’s Live Cockpit Professional system, boasting a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, as well as a 10.25-inch touchscreen display. Adding to the digital interaction is the new My BMW App that provides a variety of remote services, on-the-go navigation, and e-mobility features all from your smartphone. The My BMW App will replace the BMW Connected App by July this year.

Driving Assistant also comes standard with the new car and includes features like lane departure warning, lane change warning, front collision warning, cross-traffic warning, and rear collision prevention. Finishing off the safety features of the new 330Li is the Intelligent Emergency Call functionality that provides live assistance and support at all times.

The BMW 330Li M Sport will be available in two exterior color options – Mineral White and Carbon Black – while the interior is complemented with Mocha Vernasca leather upholstery with black stitching.

Interested customers wanting to get their hands on the new BMW 330Li M Sport can expect to pay an estimated price of RM308,000 on the road without insurance, inclusive of Sales and Service Tax (SST).
