Acer Malaysia Refreshed Predator Helios 300 and Nitro 5

In conjunction with the kickoff of the Predator League 2020/21, Acer Malaysia has announced the arrival of the refreshed Predator Helios 300 equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 and the Acer Nitro 5 with 11th Gen Intel Core processor in Malaysia.

The Predator Helios 300 is equipped with the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060. It is also equipped with Intel’s 10th Gen i7-10870H processor, powerful enough to run even the most demanding of games. It also comes with a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD with one HDD slot and one M.2 slot. As for RAM, the laptop is equipped with 8GB of RAM, which is upgradable to 32GB.

The Predator Helios 300 sports a 15.6-inch IPS FHD slim bezel display that is capable of a 144Hz refresh rate. The audio is also software tuned with DTS:X Ultra, capable of simulating 3D surround sound to allow for more gaming immersion.

The Predator Helios 300 will come in two variants with the same NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU but different processors, the Intel i7-10870H variant will retail for RM5,999 whereas the Intel i5-10500H variant retails for RM5,299.

Acer Nitro 5

Next up, the Nitro 5 is Acer’s latest ‘lesser value more performance’ gaming laptop. It will be equipped with Intel’s latest 11th Gen Intel processors. It comes with an NVIDIA GTX 1650 GPU, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and 512GB of NVMe SSD storage. An additional RAM slot (up to 32GB) and m.2 slots are provided for further upgradability. The Nitro 5 similarly has a 15.6-inch IPS FHD display that is capable of a 144Hz refresh rate.

The Nitro 5 will also come with two variants, the Intel i7-11370H variant retails at RM4,399, whereas the Intel i5-11300H processor will retail at RM3,799.

Both the Predator Helios 300 and Nitro 5, included with their variants will be available immediately at all Acer official stores and all Acer authorized resellers nationwide, including Shopee and Lazada.

Meanwhile, Acer Malaysia is giving away special gifts worth RM638 in total for customers who purchase these devices in Acer Official Store @ Shopee during the Asia Pacific Predator League period. The gifts include 3 Years McAfee Live Safe license worth RM299 and Acer Supercare 2 worth RM339.
