ASUS ROG Phone 6D Series and BATMAN Edition Officially Launched

ASUS announced the ROG Phone 6D series a couple of months ago, which features the ROG Phone 6D and ROG Phone 6D Ultimate. Both devices are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor.

Both phones look similar to the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro. The ROG 6D Ultimate features a color ROG Vision matrix display on the back, while the standard one has an RGB LED-illuminated logo on the back.

Both phones sport the same 6.78-inch 165Hz AMOLED HDR10+ display with an industry-leading 720Hz touch-sampling rate and a world-beating 23ms ultra-low touch latency. The camera setup on the back is also the same — a 50MP Sony IMX766 main + 13MP ultra-wide + macro camera. There’s also a 12MP front-facing camera for taking selfies too.

Both ROG Phone 6D and ROG Phone 6D Ultimate also pack a 6,000mAh battery that supports 65W HyperCharge. Both devices feature AirTrigger 6 to support various gestures, including new features such as Dual Action, Press and Lift, and Gyroscope Aiming. Even the accessories for the ROG Phone 6 lineup are also compatible with both phones.

As for the ROG Phone 6 BATMAN Edition, it has a different appearance, which has a special semi-matte finish carefully designed to reflect light in a way that mimics the iconic image of the Bat-Signal searchlight illuminating dark clouds in the Gotham City night sky. It also has a special Aura RGB illuminated logo with an outline image of the instantly recognizable Bat emblem. As usual, ASUS also made its user interface Batman-themed. The custom in-display fingerprint icon also means that users can unlock the phone by tapping the famous yellow Bat emblem.

The phone comes with a specially designed hard-shell travel case that keeps the phone itself, a USB-C-powered Bat-Signal searchlight mini-projector that can project one of two versions of the famous Bat-Signal onto nearby surfaces, a Batman Aero Case with a special finish, and a hidden ‘Easter egg’ image.

The ROG Phone 6D (12GB+256GB) Space Grey is priced at RM3,499, while the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate (16GB+512GB) Space Grey is priced at RM4,999:

Meanwhile, the ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition (MediaTek Dimensity 9000+) with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage will be priced at RM4,799 with exclusive matching accessories bundled. Availability is set for the end of November for the ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition.
