Just a few months after the official debut of ZenFone 4 series in Taiwan, the ASUS ZenFone 5 series has been officially announced at MWC 2018. This time around, there are three ZenFone 5 devices — ZenFone 5Z, ZenFone 5, and ZenFone 5 Lite.
ASUS ZenFone 5Z and ZenFone 5

Both phones come with AI Boost, which optimizes performance for games and other demanding tasks.
Both phones sport a 6.2-inch (2,246 x 1,080) Super IPS 19:9 display with DCI-P3 support. Just like the iPhone X, both phones have a notch at the top of the display too, but it’s 26% smaller. With the near bezel-less display, the phone now has 90% screen-to-body ratio.

Both also feature AI-enhanced camera features such as AI Scene Detection for 16 different scenes and objects, AI Photo Learning, Real-time Portrait, and Real-time Beautification. Selfie wise, there’s an 8MP f/2.0 front camera.
Juicing up the ZenFone 5Z and ZenFone 5 is a 3,300mAh battery. Both phones run on Android Oreo with the latest ZenUI 5.0. Color options wise, the ZenFone 5Z and ZenFone 5 are available in Meteor Silver and Midnight Blue.
