Xiaomi Launches Redmi Note 15 Series in Malaysia

Redmi Note 15 Pro Series Price

Xiaomi Malaysia has officially unveiled the Redmi Note 15 series in Malaysia, marking the successor to last year’s Redmi Note 14 lineup. This time around, Xiaomi is expanding the range significantly. Instead of just two models, the series now consists of four devices: the Redmi Note 15 (4G), Redmi Note 15 5G, Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G.

Leading the lineup is the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G, which comes equipped with a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display featuring a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,200 nits peak brightness. Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with a sizeable 6,500mAh battery that supports 100W HyperCharge, alongside 22.5W reverse wired charging.

On the camera front, the Pro+ model sports a 200MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens at the back, while selfies are handled by a 32MP front-facing camera.

Just below it sits the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, which shares much of the same hardware. It retains the identical 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,200 nits peak brightness. Internally, however, it swaps Qualcomm silicon for a MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra chipset and packs a slightly larger 6,580mAh battery. Charging speeds are more modest here, topping out at 45W wired charging with support for 22.5W reverse wireless charging.

Camera-wise, the Pro mirrors the Pro+ with a 200MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, but the front camera is downgraded to a 20MP shooter.

Rounding out the lineup are the Redmi Note 15 and Redmi Note 15 5G, which are largely similar and primarily differentiated by their chipsets and connectivity. Both devices feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness.

The Redmi Note 15 (4G) is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G100-Ultra and is backed by a 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 15 5G runs on a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset and uses a 5,520mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports faster 45W charging, along with 18W reverse charging.

For photography, both models come with a 108MP main camera and a 20MP front-facing camera. The key difference lies in the secondary rear sensor, with the 5G variant featuring an 8MP ultra-wide camera, while the 4G model settles for a 2MP depth sensor.

Customers who purchase the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G (12GB + 256GB) or the Pro (8GB + 256GB) will receive a free storage upgrade. Meanwhile, buyers opting for the higher storage variants — the 12GB + 512GB or 8GB + 512GB — will instead receive a free Redmi Pad SE 8.7-inch with cover.

Additionally, purchases made between 22 January and 28 February will come with a free Mi Vacuum Cleaner, while stocks last.
