ASUS Unveils 2021 ZenBook Series in Malaysia

ASUS Malaysia today has unveiled three new 2021 ZenBook series laptops — the ZenBook Flip S OLED (UX371), ZenBook Flip OLED (UX363), and ZenBook Duo 14 (UX482). These three 2021 ZenBook series laptops are now available in Malaysia via authorized dealers and ASUS e-Stores.

ZenBook Flip S OLED (UX371)

The first laptop in the 2021 ZenBook series is the ZenBook Flip S OLED (UX371), which is the world’s thinnest 13″ 4K OLED convertible laptop. It weighs just 1.2kg with a thin 13.9mm body. We have actually reviewed the laptop, which you can check out here.

The laptop sports a 13.3-inch OLED 4K UHD NanoEdge touchscreen display with a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and 400 nits of brightness. Powering the laptop is the Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, 16GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 1TB PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 M.2 SSD.

The laptop comes with two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, one USB-A 3.2 port, and a standard HDMI port. It has a dual-speaker Harman Kardon-certified audio system. Its 67Wh battery can be charged via the USB-C port and it also supports the USB-C Easy Charge feature, which lets you charge the laptop using any charger (5V to 20V).

Retailing at RM6,799, the ZenBook Flip S OLED (UX371) is available in Jade Black finish with Red Copper highlights.

ZenBook Flip OLED (UX363)

As for the ZenBook Flip OLED (UX363), it is a slightly less powerful version of the UX371. Instead of a 4K OLED panel, it has a 13.3-inch OLED Full HD NanoEdge touchscreen display with a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and 400 nits of brightness. Powering the laptop is up to the Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 512GB PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 M.2 SSD.

The rest of the specs is similar to the UX371 — two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, one USB-A 3.2 port, a standard HDMI port, a dual-speaker Harman Kardon-certified audio system, and a 67Wh battery with the USB-C Easy Charge feature.

The ASUS ZenBook Flip OLED (UX363) is available in two variants — RM4,699 for the i5-1135G7 variant and RM5,199 for the i7-1165G7 variant.

ZenBook Duo 14 (UX482)

The ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 (UX482) is basically a refreshed version of the previous ZenBook Duo with some improvements. For starter, it now has a new tilting ScreenPad Plus design that adds a new dimension to on-
the-go computing. The ScreenPad Plus is a 12.6-inch Full HD touch display, while the main display is a 14-inch LED-backlit Full HD touchscreen display with a 93% of screen-to-body ratio. Both screens support the latest 4096-pressure-level devices including the bundled ASUS Pen.

Similar to the UX363, the ZenBook Duo 14 (UX482) is powered by up to the Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, up to 16GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 512GB PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 M.2 SSD. As the laptop has a thicker form factor, it has more ports — two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, one USB-A 3.2 port, a standard HDMI port, a 3.5mm audio combo jack, and a MicroSD card slot.

The ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 (UX482) has a 70Wh battery and can be charged via the USB-C port. It also supports the USB-C Easy Charge feature. The laptop is available in two variants — RM5,499 for the i5-1135G7 + 8GB RAM variant and RM5,199 for the i7-1165G7 + 16GB RAM variant.
