Xiaomi Mi A3 and Mi Smart Band 4 Officially Launched in Malaysia

The Xiaomi Mi A3 and Mi Smart Band 4 are now finally here in Malaysia! Xiaomi Malaysia today launched the successors of two hot selling products (Mi A2 and Mi Smart Band 3). The Mi A3 will be available from 3rd of August onwards, while the Mi Smart Band 4 is now available in Malaysia.

Mi A3

The Mi A3 is the latest edition of Xiaomi’s Android One series device. It sports a 6.088-inch AMOLED Dot Drop display. In exchange for a better AMOLED display, the screen resolution is now only HD+ instead of Full HD+, but surely it’ll have better battery life. The phone now also has an in-screen fingerprint sensor.

Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. Camera wise, the phone comes with a triple-camera setup on the back — 48MP 1.6μm f/1.79 + 8MP ultra wide-angle + 2MP f/2.4 depth lens. Selfie wise, there’s a 32MP front camera.

The Mi A3 packs a 4,030mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging, though the included charger in the box is the 10W charger.

The Mi A3 will be available in 64GB and 128GB variants, pricing at RM899 and RM999, respectively. The phone will be available in three colors — Kind of Grey, Not Just Blue and More than White.

Mi Smart Band 4

The Mi Smart Band 4 is the company’s latest smart wearable. It has a 0.95-inch full-color AMOLED display, the first in the Mi Smart Band series. It also comes with 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope, capacitive proximity sensor, and PPG heart rate sensor. Xiaomi claims that the 135mAh battery is able to last up to 20 days on a single charge.

The Mi Smart Band 4 is now available at the price of RM149. Similar to the Mi A3, the device is available via Lazada and Shopee, as well as Authorized Mi Stores.
