Xiaomi Mi 11 Makes Its Global Debut

Xiaomi’s latest Mi 11 was announced earlier this year in China, the phone has finally made its global debut with some improvements over its predecessor.

The Mi 11 sports a 6.81-inch WQHD+ AMOLED quad-curve DotDisplay with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone also has a dual-speaker setup, SOUND BY Harman Kardon.

In terms of camera, the Mi 11 has a triple-camera setup on the back — 108MP main + 13MP ultra-wide + 5MP telemacro (3cm – 10cm). Selfie wise, it has a 20MP in-display front-facing camera. This time around, the Mi 11 has some new features for photography and videography. Its primary, ultra-wide, and front cameras are now capable of taking night mode photos and the video night mode technology completely redefines industry standards with its RAW-level noise reduction for brighter night shooting.

Additionally, it now also offers studio-level shooting control with its HDR10+ recording and new Pro Time-lapse mode, capable of adjusting shutter speed, ISO, aperture, and EV to handle even the most challenging lighting situations.

The Mi 11 packs a 4,600mAh battery that supports 55W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging. Xiaomi will also be including a 55W GaN charger in the box when you purchase the phone. It runs on MIUI 12.5 out of the box, which is an intermediate update based on MIUI 12 with a strong focus on system optimizations.

The phone will come in two storage variants: 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. Starting at €749 (equivalent to RM3,662, not official local price), it will be available globally soon. The phone comes in Midnight Gray and Horizon Blue.
