Xiaomi Launches the Redmi 9T in Malaysia

The Redmi 9T is Xiaomi’s latest entry-level phone, priced starting at RM599, it’s designed to deliver exceptional performance and multi-day battery life. Regardless of its price, it is packed with features that disrupt the entry-level smartphone market.

The phone features a 48MP AI quad-camera setup which makes it a photography powerhouse. It is 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera that accommodates large group photos and wide landscape shots without the need for cropping. Whereas its 2MP macro lens and 2MP depth sensor allow for stunning close-up shots with a beautiful bokeh effect.

The Redmi 9T is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset, complimented by a 6,00mAh battery. Its combined performance allows the Redmi 9T to deliver higher performance with less heat generated and lower power consumption. Redmi 9T also comes with 18W fast charging with an in-box 22.5W charger included.

As for the exterior, the phone features a modern and minimalistic design, it also has a 6.53″ FHD+ Dot Drop display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 that offers a crisp and clear vision with strong protection against cracks and scratches.

The Redmi 9T will be available in both 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB versions from January 15, pricing at RM599 and RM699, respectively. You can purchase it via the official online store at Lazada and Shopee, as well as offline at all Authorized Mi Stores and other official retailers in Malaysia.

Additionally, Xiaomi Malaysia has also introduced the Mi 65W Fast Charger with GaN tech and Mi Smart Speaker, pricing at RM119 and RM209. The Mi 65W Fast Charger with GaN tech packs a compact design that is able to charge your smartphone, laptop, and game console. As for the Mi Smart Speaker, it comes with a front-facing speaker with a 63.5mm sound driver and DTS Customized Sound support that covers a wide range to provide an immersive audio experience. Both products are now available via Lazada and Shopee.
