Xiaomi has announced a major expansion of its smart home ecosystem in Malaysia with the introduction of several new Smart Tech Appliances, including the Mijia Air Conditioner GentleAir, Mijia Refrigerator Side-by-Side 715L, Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer series, and the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Series. The latest additions further strengthen Xiaomi’s “Human × Car × Home” ecosystem strategy, bringing greater connectivity, automation, and convenience to modern households.
Designed to work seamlessly within the Xiaomi ecosystem, all of the new appliances can be managed through the Xiaomi Home app, allowing users to monitor device status, adjust settings remotely, receive notifications, and benefit from over-the-air software updates. Selected models also support Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for hands-free voice control.
Mijia Air Conditioner GentleAir
Leading the new lineup is the Mijia Air Conditioner GentleAir, which is available in 1.0HP and 1.5HP variants. Xiaomi says the air conditioner is engineered to deliver a softer and more comfortable airflow experience through a specially designed soft air vane that helps eliminate harsh direct drafts. It features three airflow modes – Halo Flow, Canopy Flow, and Carpet Flow – to suit different cooling and heating scenarios. The unit also supports rapid temperature adjustments with fast cooling and heating capabilities, while an AI-powered energy-saving mode intelligently optimises performance based on environmental conditions. Users can control the air conditioner remotely through the Xiaomi Home app, with AI learning functions designed to adapt settings according to individual usage habits.
Mijia Refrigerator Side-by-Side 715L
For larger households, Xiaomi is introducing the Mijia Refrigerator Side-by-Side 715L. The refrigerator offers a generous 635L net capacity, consisting of 394L of refrigeration space and 241L of freezer storage. Equipped with dual inverter technology, the appliance delivers efficient cooling performance while maintaining stable temperatures throughout the compartment. Xiaomi has also incorporated Ag⁺ Fresh technology to help reduce odours and bacteria, alongside frost-free air cooling technology that eliminates the need for manual defrosting. Smart controls via the Xiaomi Home app allow users to manage temperature settings remotely, while voice assistant support adds another layer of convenience.
Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer
The laundry segment is represented by the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 9kg and the Mijia Front Load Washer 9kg. The washer dryer model combines washing and drying functions in a single appliance, featuring a spacious 525mm drum and more than 30 wash programmes. Xiaomi has integrated a dedicated hygiene mode that uses high-temperature steam and hot water for enhanced sanitisation, while smart drying technology automatically stops the drying process once the desired condition is achieved to help protect fabrics. Through the Xiaomi Home app, users can remotely control laundry cycles, customise washing programmes, and receive future feature enhancements through software updates. The washer-only model retains the same core washing capabilities for users who do not require a built-in dryer.
Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Series
Completing the new range is the Robot Vacuum H50 Series, consisting of the Robot Vacuum H50 and Robot Vacuum H50 Pro. The standard H50 offers up to 10,000Pa suction power, dual anti-tangle brushes, dual rotary mops, and LDS laser navigation for intelligent route planning. It also features automatic mop lifting when carpets are detected and a multifunction base station that handles automatic dust collection and mop washing. The company says the large water tank capacity allows coverage of up to 240m² in a single cleaning session, while the dust bag can last up to 75 days before requiring replacement.
For users seeking a more advanced cleaning solution, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 Pro raises suction power to 15,000Pa and introduces dual robotic arms designed to improve edge and corner cleaning performance. It also features enhanced obstacle avoidance capabilities, advanced navigation technology, and an upgraded all-in-one docking station with automatic dust collection, self-cleaning functionality, and hot-air drying. Like the rest of Xiaomi’s smart appliances, both robot vacuums can be controlled through the Xiaomi Home app and support voice commands via Google Assistant and Alexa.
Price and Availability
The new Smart Tech Appliances lineup will be available in Malaysia beginning 5 June 2026 through Xiaomi Stores nationwide, Xiaomi’s official online store, and its official stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. The Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 9kg will be offered at a promotional price of RM1,199, while the Mijia Front Load Washer 9kg will retail at RM999 during the launch period. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H50 and H50 Pro are priced at RM1,299 and RM1,999, respectively. Meanwhile, the Mijia Air Conditioner GentleAir series and Mijia Refrigerator Side-by-Side 715L will be available from 12 June, with promotional prices starting from RM1,599 for the 1.0HP model and RM2,799 for the refrigerator.
