Xiaomi 13 Ultra Officially Launched in Malaysia

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is finally here in Malaysia! Being the top-end variant in the flagship series, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra packs the current-generation flagship chipset and also other high-end specs you would expect on a flagship phone.

The phone sports a 6.73-inch WQHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display that has a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. Yup, this is the only configuration offered here, note that the Chinese variant has up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.

In terms of cameras, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra features a Leica quad-camera setup on the back — a 1-inch 50MP Sony IMX989 main camera and three 50MP Sony IMX858 sensors for its ultra-wide, telephoto, and periscope shooters. All these cameras are aided by OIS, except for the ultra-wide camera. The phone also has a 32MP front-facing camera for taking selfies.

Juicing up the phone is a 5,000mAh battery that also supports 90W wired turbo charging and 50W wireless turbo charging. Additionally, it also comes with a built-in Loop LiquidCool cooling system, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC connectivity, MIUI 14 on top of Android 13, and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

Retailing at RM5,199, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be available in Black and Olive Green color options. Pre-orders in Malaysia will start from June 23 to June 29 via Authorized Xiaomi Stores and other official retailers nationwide, including Lazada. Pre-order customers will receive a Xiaomi Instant Photo Printer 1S set, 100GB cloud storage on Google One for 6 months, and 1+1 years of extended warranty for free, while stocks last.
