vivo has officially launched the new vivo X300 Ultra and X300 FE in Malaysia, introducing the pair as the latest flagship and more affordable option in its X300 series lineup.
vivo X300 Ultra
Leading the charge is the vivo X300 Ultra, which builds on the strengths of the Pro model with more premium hardware across the board. Up front, the device features a 6.82-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, while under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Keeping everything running is a large 6,600mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging.
As expected, the biggest highlight of the X300 Ultra is its imaging system. The phone comes equipped with a 200MP main camera using the Sony LYTIA 901 1/1.12-inch sensor, paired with a 200MP telephoto shooter featuring the Samsung ISOCELL HP0 sensor, alongside a 50MP ultra-wide camera. Supporting the setup is vivo’s VS1+ imaging chip, while a 50MP front-facing camera handles selfies.
vivo is also introducing its LN4 Multi-Stage Lossless Noise Reduction technology to further improve low-light photography performance. As with previous flagship models, ZEISS enhancements remain part of the package, continuing the brand’s long-running partnership with ZEISS.
vivo X300 FE
The vivo X300 FE, which the company is now calling the Fun Edition, serves as the more accessible alternative. It comes with a 6.31-inch flat display, runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, and packs a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.
Its camera setup includes a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, while the front also gets a 50MP selfie camera.
On the software side, both devices run OriginOS 6 and come with five years of Android OS updates and seven years of security patches. Both models also carry IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings.
Pricing & Availability
Pre-orders for both devices are now open until 22 May. The vivo X300 Ultra is priced at RM6,799 for the 16GB + 512GB variant, while the 16GB + 1TB model is priced at RM7,799. Buyers can also opt for the 1TB variant bundled with a telephoto extender kit for RM9,999. During the pre-order period, all X300 Ultra variants come with an RM900 rebate along with additional free gifts.
For the vivo X300 FE, the 12GB + 256GB model is priced at RM3,299, while the 12GB + 512GB version costs RM3,899. Bundling either model with the telephoto extender kit raises the prices to RM4,298 and RM4,898, respectively. Only the combo bundles qualify for the pre-order promotion, which includes an RM300 rebate.
For those interested in purchasing the telephoto extenders separately, the Telephoto Extender Gen 2 for the X300 FE is priced at RM999. Meanwhile, the X300 Ultra supports both the Extender Gen 2 and Gen 2 Ultra, offering 200mm and 400mm focal lengths, respectively. These are priced at RM999 and RM1,599, but during the pre-order period, they are discounted to RM699 and RM1,199.
