vivo V9 Officially Launched in Malaysia

vivo has officially launched the vivo V9 in Malaysia, the 1st device with 19:9 screen-to-body aspect ratio to enter Malaysia. As premium as it looks, the starting price of this device is RM1,399, which packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage (expandable up to 256GB). Other specs include a 3,260mAh battery, a dual-rear camera setup (16MP + 5MP), a 24MP front camera, and multiple pre-installed AI feature.

As mentioned on the Facebook page, the V9 is currently available for pre-order. Customers who pre-order the phone from March 26th to 30th will receive a free bundled gift that worth RM199, which includes an extended 6-month warranty, a headset, a keychain, and also a selfie stick. CEO of vivo Malaysia Mike Xu has introduced that the new Funmoji during the launching of the event, an emoji that could react to the users face where the user could record their facial expression by using the emoji and send it to their friends. The phone runs on Funtouch OS 5.0, which supports more features.

The V9 has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with an incredible 1.75mm slim bezel, covered by a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass. The 5MP secondary camera is being used as the depth sensor, providing the bokeh effect that allows the user to refocus after the photo has been taken. The phone also comes with an AI HDR feature that captures 3 photos at the same time and combines them for the best results by eliminating shadows and moving object.

At the same time, CEO of Vivo Malaysia Mike Xu has mentioned that vivo will be the official sponsor for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2018 that will happen in Russia, the company also introduced the partnership with Garena Arena of Valor Hero, any customer who pre-order the phone will receive a special class S Arena of Valor Hero Lauriel, with additional Lauriel skin and a pair of black wing. On the other hand, the company has also announced that Alvin Chong Jin Hua will be the new vivo ambassador.
