vivo Malaysia has officially launched the vivo V70, bringing a large battery, a bright AMOLED display, and a versatile camera setup to the mid-range segment.
Up front, the vivo V70 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is also capable of reaching up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness, ensuring excellent visibility even under bright outdoor lighting.
Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and as much as 512GB of storage. Keeping the phone running is a sizeable 6,500mAh battery, which supports 90W fast charging.
In the camera department, the vivo V70 sports a triple-camera setup on the rear. This includes a 50MP main camera, a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The phone also introduces features designed to capture better photos during golden-hour lighting conditions, while Stage Mode — inherited from the vivo X200 FE — helps users take clearer shots during performances and stage events. On the front, the device packs a 50MP selfie camera.
On the software side, the smartphone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. vivo is also promising four Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the device. Rounding out the feature set is an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
In Malaysia, the vivo V70 is available in three configurations:
- RM1,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model
- RM2,199 for the 12GB + 256GB variant
- RM2,599 for the 12GB + 512GB version
