OPPO A96 Officially Launched in Malaysia

OPPO Malaysia has officially launched the OPPO A96, which is the latest smartphone in the popular A range. The phone is equipped with large storage and memory, 5,000mAh long-lasting battery capacity, and 33W SUPERVOOC flash charging, complemented by the OPPO Glow Design that allows the phone to be scratch and fingerprint resistant.

The OPPO A96 sports a 6.59-inch 90Hz Color-Rich punch-hole display with a 96% NTSC wide color gamut managed by the OPPO’s self-developed Adaptive Refresh Rate Technology to deliver an immersive viewing experience. Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The phone does have the RAM expansion feature that provides an additional 5GB of virtual RAM from the internal storage.

In terms of camera, the OPPO A96 has a 50MP rear camera alongside the 2MP Bokeh camera. It comes with features like AI Palette, Neon Portrait, Flash Snapshot, and Selfie HDR, which offer even more versatility to users as they shoot in different scenarios. As for taking selfies, the phone has a 16MP front camera that also comes with features especially for taking portraits.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W SUPERVOOC flash charging. It runs on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11, still no news on ColorOS 12 update at the moment.

Retailing at RM1,299, the OPPO A96 is now available for pre-order until April 22. Customers who pre-order OPPO A96 will be entitled to receive rewards starting from RM498 and up to RM947. Check out more details below:
