vivo V21 Series Officially Launched in Malaysia

vivo Malaysia today has officially launched the vivo V21 series — the V21 and V21e. Both are the latest V-series smartphones that have a long history of providing consumers with fashion-forward, camera-focused devices at a competitive price.

The vivo V21 series features a 44MP front camera, the one on the V21 is even aided with OIS, which reminds me of the HTC 10. Unlike most smartphones, the front camera comes with advanced autofocus features, at the moment only a few flagships have an autofocus selfie camera. It comes with features like Super Night Selfie, AI Night Portrait, and Dual Selfie Spotlight, for taking better low-light selfies.

In terms of rear cameras, both phones come with a triple-camera setup — 64MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro. Once again, the V21’s main camera is aided with OIS.

Both phones have a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, the V21 has a 90Hz refresh rate as expected at its price point. Powering the V21 is a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor, while the V21e has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, both come with 8GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage.

The vivo V21 series packs a 4,000mAh battery with 33W FlashCharge technology that charges quickly. Both phones run on Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11.

The vivo V21 series is now available for pre-order at all vivo concept stores, vivo authorized dealers, vivo E-store, Shopee, and Lazada. Each pre-order will come with a 1-year extended warranty, 1-year screen crack protection, an RM50 instant rebate, and an exclusive gift, resulting in a total worth value of RM699 and RM599 respectively.
