We haven’t heard Sony launching any smartphone for a long time, but there you go, the Sony Xperia 10 II is now available in Malaysia!
Pronounced as “Xperia 10 Mark 2”, not “Xperia 10 2”, the phone sports a 6-inch Full HD+ OLED 21:9 wide display. Its 21:9 display comes with TRILUMINOS tech, found in BRAVIA TVs, which offers more unique usability experiences exclusive to Sony, such as multi-window which allows you to have two screens or apps open at the same time for efficient multitasking.
Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. A little bit underpowered for a phone at this price range. The phone does come with IP65/68 water and dust resistance, though.
In terms of camera, the phone comes with a triple-camera setup on the back — 12MP f/2.0 main + 8MP telephoto + 8MP 120° ultra-wide. The phone is also capable of recording 4K and 120fps slow-mo videos. Selfie wise, there’s an 8MP f/2.0 front-facing camera.
The Xperia 10 II packs a 3,600mAh battery and runs on Android 10. Retailing at RM1,799, the phone is available in Black, White, Mint, and Blue at Sony Stores KLCC and The Curve, Sony Store Online, Sony flagship store on Lazada and Sony authorized dealers.
