The latest openings follow the success of the brand’s first Monostore at IOI City Mall in Putrajaya and mark another step in the brand’s continued expansion in the Malaysian market. The new stores are aimed at giving consumers more opportunities to experience Shokz’s open-ear audio technology in person.

Shokz has been developing open-ear audio products since 2011, with its product approach centred around comfort, safety and situational awareness. The brand’s OpenSound technology combines sound architecture, intelligent audio algorithms and sound leakage control to deliver its open-ear listening experience while allowing users to remain aware of their surroundings.

At the new Monostores, customers can explore a range of Shokz products, including the OpenRun Pro2, OpenSwim Pro, OpenDots 2 and OpenFit Pro. The stores will also have Shokz Open-Ear Specialists on hand to provide personalised product recommendations based on different listening needs, including everyday listening, commuting, calls, running and other active lifestyles.

According to Lyndon Chen, APAC Sales Manager of Shokz, the two new Monostores represent an important step in the company’s growth in Malaysia. The expansion is intended to bring the brand closer to local consumers while allowing Shokz to better understand how open-ear technology is being incorporated into everyday use.

Meanwhile, Jo Ten, General Manager of NOVE Malaysia, said the company sees open-ear technology as having potential beyond the sports segment, with opportunities for it to become part of consumers’ everyday lifestyles.

Shokz has also established connections with Malaysia’s running and fitness communities through initiatives that reflect its focus on keeping users connected to both their audio and surroundings. Its open-ear technology is designed to let users listen to audio while remaining aware of what is happening around them, making it suitable for activities such as running, commuting, navigating the city and everyday use.

Beyond product demonstrations and discovery, Shokz’s Monostores also provide existing customers with after-sales support. This includes post-purchase setup assistance and direct warranty support across its Monostore network in Malaysia.

With the addition of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Shokz now has three dedicated Monostores in Malaysia, strengthening its physical retail presence and making its open-ear audio products more accessible to local consumers.
