Commtiva Technology today announced its partnership with Sharp to launch Sharp Mobile in Malaysia. The company today introduced two new mid-range smartphones — Sharp Z2 and Sharp M1.
The Sharp Z2 has a 5.5-inch Full HD LTPS display. Under the hood, the device is powered by a MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor with 4GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage.
The phone has a 16MP rear camera with PDAF technology, which located above the fingerprint sensor. Selfie wise, there’s an 8MP f/1.8 82-degree wide angle front camera.
Juicing up the device is a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging technology (50% in 30 minutes). The device is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with custom UI.
The Sharp M1 features Japan DNA ID Design with curved 3D Gorilla Glass on its back. It has the same 5.5-inch Full HD LTPS display like the Z2, and is powered by a MediaTek MT6753 processor with 3GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage.
Both front and rear cameras of the phone are a 13MP shooter, which claims that the device is able to capture sharp images even at night.
The device has a 2,600mAh battery and is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with custom UI.
The Sharp Z2 retails at RM1,199 with two colors available — Gold and Silver, while the Sharp M1 retails at RM899 with Hanayome White and Pure Pink colors available. Commtiva Technology will offer a free tempered glass protector and cover worth RM69 with purchase of the Z2 or M1.
