It’s nearly that time of the year again when we will be seeing Samsung announces its first flagship of the year. This time around, the company has promised that there will be a Note-worthy Galaxy S series device coming.
At Unpacked in February 2022, we’ll introduce you to the most noteworthy S series device we’ve ever created.
From the quoted message above by Dr. TM Roh, Samsung’s President and Head of the MX Business, it seems that the Note line that was dead in 2021 is making a comeback this year, but not as the Note line.
In case you didn’t know, the Galaxy Note20 Ultra and Note20 are the last Note devices, Samsung then skipped the Note series in 2021 as the company focused on the foldable Z series for the second half of the year.
Roh’s blog post ends with the following sentence: “Get ready for the ultimate Ultra experience”, which I believe the company is confirming the upcoming top-end S series device will bear the “Ultra” naming.
