The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series is Samsung’s latest flagship tablet series, consisting of three models — S9, S9+, and S9 Ultra. This time around, all three models get Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays, even for the smallest size one. Without further ado, here’s the first look at the new Galaxy Tab S9 series.

All three tablets look quite similar on the front, apart from the Ultra model, which has a tiny notch to house the two 12MP cameras. The Tab S9 has an 11-inch display, the S9+ has a 12.4-inch display, and the S9 Ultra has a huge 14.6-inch display. For the first time, even the smallest screen size model also sports a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display.
The Galaxy Tab S9 has a single camera on the back, while the S9+ and S9 Ultra have a dual-camera setup on the back. All three models are IP68-rated for water and dust resistance, including the S Pen that came in the box too. The S Pen can be charged by placing it on a dedicated slot next to the camera or below the camera, depending on which orientation you are in, just like the previous generation.
All three models also come with a keyboard cover that is sold separately, you’ll get a laptop-like experience when using the Samsung DeX with the keyboard. Furthermore, Samsung also offers certain pro-level apps available exclusively on the Galaxy Tab S9 series:
- Fan-favorite GoodNotes offers a new note-taking and journaling experience on Android for the first time, launching exclusively for Galaxy tablet users. Plus, notes created in GoodNotes on all platforms can easily be shared and co-edited simultaneously.
- The pro-level LumaFusion video editing app makes work easy when creating sharable content. Images and videos — even large files — taken on your Galaxy smartphone camera can be easily shared with the Galaxy Tab S9 series with Quick Share. - Clip Studio Paint has been transformed into a streamlined tablet interface for drawing, painting, and more. Through close collaboration with Google to optimize large-screen experiences, users can benefit from partner apps to easily complete tasks and turn ideas into reality on the Galaxy Tab S9 series.
