Samsung Announces Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Buds FE

Besides Galaxy S23 FE, Samsung also announced three more FE products — Galaxy Tab S9 FE | S9 FE+ and Galaxy Buds FE.

Galaxy Tab S9 FE | S9 FE+

The Galaxy Tab S9 FE series comes in two sizes — Tab S9 FE in 10.9-inch and Tab S9 FE+ in 12.4-inch, both sizes available in Wi-Fi only and 5G trims. The tablets feature IPS LCDs with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. They also come with Samsung’s Vision Booster for improved viewing in outdoor environments and dual speakers with Dolby Atmos. Just like the Tab S9 series, both tablets are IP68-rated and come bundled with an S Pen that is also water and dust-resistant.

Powering the tablets is an Exynos 1380 processor with up to 8GB RAM for the Tab S9 FE and 12GB RAM for the Tab S9 FE+. Both models come with either 128GB or 256GB storage option that is expandable via MicroSD card.

In terms of cameras, both tablets feature a 12MP ultra-wide front camera. The Tab S9 FE has an 8MP rear camera, while the Tab S9 FE+ gets an added 8MP ultra-wide camera on the back as well. The Tab S9 FE has an 8,000mAh battery, while the Tab S9 has a 10,090mAh battery. Both tablets also support 45W fast charging, but the charging brick doesn’t come in the box.

Galaxy Buds FE

The Galaxy Buds FE are the most affordable wireless earbuds with active noise cancelation (ANC) that Samsung ever made. The earbuds offer Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity with auto switching between paired devices and up to 21 hours of total playtime with their charging case.

They support the AAC and SBS audio codecs and offer integrated touch controls. Each earbud gets 3 microphones with two outer ones and one more on the inside. Samsung also offers three different-sized silicone ear tips and two additional wingtips in the box for better fit.

Battery life is rated at 6 hours of playtime with ANC on which extends to 21 hours with the charging case and its 479mAh battery. The Galaxy Buds FE will also be available in Malaysia starting 10 October 2023, retailing at RM399 in two distinct, modern colors — Graphite and White.
