Samsung Galaxy S25 Series_2

It’s the first Galaxy Unpacked of the year! Samsung today officially announced the new Galaxy S25 series, featuring the Galaxy S25 Ultra, S25+, and S25. These phones are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. With unique customizations by Galaxy, this is the most powerful processor ever on the Galaxy S series, delivering a performance boost of 40% in NPU, 37% in CPU, and 30% in GPU compared to the previous generation.

Galaxy S24 Ultra

The Galaxy S25 Ultra sports a larger 6.9-inch QHD+ (3,120×1,440) Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy with 12GB RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.

Unlike the S24 Ultra, the S Pen in the S25 Ultra is not Bluetooth enabled, meaning you’ll lose features like camera remote and air actions. It has a Corning Gorilla Armor 2 front and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 back, accompanied by a titanium frame.

The phone has a quad-camera setup on the back: a 50MP ultra-wide lens that captures 4x better macro shots, a 200MP wide lens with OIS, a 50MP 5x telephoto lens that takes 12.5MP images with 4-in-1 pixel binning, and the same 10MP 3x telephoto lens. It still has a 12MP autofocus front camera for taking selfies.

The phone comes with the next-generation ProVisual Engine which captures less noise and more details. 10-bit HDR recording is now applied by default. It also comes with camera features like Virtual Aperture for depth-of-field control and Galaxy Log for precise color grading.

Portrait Studio has also been enhanced, allowing users to create personalized avatars with more true-to-life facial expressions. Filters introduce new analog-style filters, delivering a film-like aesthetic for their photos and videos.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra runs on One UI 7 on top of Android 15, which comes with plenty of new features. Samsung now collaborates with Gemini to enable cross-app actions. Now Brief is your personal assistant who will brief your day. There’s also an intelligent lock screen featuring Now Bar, which will show your live activities on the lock screen. Audio Eraser can recognize and isolate sounds from various sources including voices, music, wind, nature, crowd, and noise. You can then manually modify and control the audio level of different sources.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra still comes with the same 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W charging. It will be available in Titanium Silverblue, Titanium Whitesilver, Titanium Gray, and Titanium Black. There are also three Samsung.com exclusive colors: Titanium Pinkgold, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Jadegreen.
