Samsung today officially unveiled the Galaxy S24 FE, the latest addition to the Galaxy AI ecosystem. Like the S24 series, the S24 FE has full-fledged Galaxy AI features. From Circle to Search with Google to Interpreter and Live Translate, you get the same advanced AI experience as the Galaxy S24 series.
The Galaxy S24 FE sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The display can run at 120Hz or 60Hz and has Vision Booster for bright, sunny days. The phone has an IP68 rating, an aluminum frame, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for both front and back glasses.
Powering the phone is an Exynos 2400e chipset, a lower clock speed variant. It comes with 8GB RAM and there will be versions with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage. Samsung also claims that the vapor chamber is 1.1x larger than the last one.
In terms of cameras, the Galaxy S24 FE packs a triple-camera setup on the back — 50MP main + 8MP 3x telephoto + 12MP 123° ultra-wide lens. It also has a 10MP selfie camera. Overall, the camera hardware is the same as last year, but this time it has more processing power and the ProVisual engine at its back.
The Galaxy S24 FE packs a 4,700mAh battery with 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. It is launching with Android 14 and OneUI 6.1 out of the box. Samsung also confirms that the phone will get 7 generations of OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates.
The Galaxy S24 FE is now available for pre-order in Malaysia, available in four color options — Blue, Graphite, Gray, and Mint:
- 256GB: RM3,299
