Samsung Galaxy J Series (2016) officially launched in Malaysia

The 2016 Galaxy J Series comes with the Ultra Data Saving (UDS) Mode, which is capable of compressing data efficiently and restricts background applications to help save the data. Samsung claims that this mode saves the data efficiently up to 62% on Instagram and 46% on YouTube. Plus the free 30 GB data from Yes 4G, it’s a win-win situation!

Additionally, Yes 4G now comes with advanced LTE service complete VoLTE (Voice-Over LTE), which is also available for the 2016’s Galaxy J Series devices.

The Galaxy J1 (2016) is an affordable device — 4.5-inch 480 x 800 Super AMOLED display, 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB expandable storage, 5 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera and a 2,050 mAh battery.

As for the Galaxy J5 (2016), it has a 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB expandable storage, 13 MP f/1.9 rear camera, 5 MP front camera with selfie flash, and a 3,100 mAh battery.

The Galaxy J7 (2016) packs the highest specs in the series. The device features a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 1.6 GHz octa-core processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB expandable storage, 13 MP f/1.9 rear camera, 5 MP front camera with selfie flash, and a 3,300 mAh battery.

All these devices will be available beginning 16 June 2016 at all Samsung Experience Stores and authorized dealerships at the price of RM 449 (2016’s Galaxy J1), RM 849 (2016’s Galaxy J5) and RM 1,049 (2016’s Galaxy J7) respectively.
