Not long ago, we reviewed the Galaxy A52, which is actually the LTE variant. The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G was announced in March alongside the A32, A52 LTE, and A72. Samsung Malaysia today has finally announced the availability of the Galaxy A52 5G, available starting from today!
Compared to the LTE variant, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G has the same 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O screen, but the refresh rate now bumps up to 120Hz (from 90Hz). The 5G variant is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB expandable storage.
The rest is quite similar to the LTE variant — quad-camera setup (64MP main with OIS + 12MP ultra-wide + 5MP macro + 5MP depth), stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging, and One UI 3.1 on top of Android 11. The phone also supports software upgrades for three generations and regular security updates for a minimum of four years.
Retailing at RM1,899, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is available in Awesome Violet, Awesome Blue, Awesome Black, and Awesome White. You can buy it from Samsung Experience Stores, authorized dealers, or Samsung Malaysia e-store.
