ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia has announced the ROG XBOX Ally X20 Bundle, with pre-orders now open from 2 October 2026. Limited to just 30 bundles nationwide, the bundle is priced at RM10,999 and combines the ROG XBOX Ally X20 with a range of exclusive accessories designed for gaming on the go.
The ROG XBOX Ally X20 features a translucent black chassis with a gold internal structure, combining a design inspired by gaming from two decades ago with modern hardware. It is equipped with ROG’s new Nebula HDR display, featuring a 7.4-inch OLED panel with a 16:9 Full HD resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,400 nits peak brightness.
The display also supports VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1400, Dolby Vision and FreeSync Premium Pro with variable refresh rates from 30Hz to 120Hz. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with Corning DXC Anti-Reflection.
Under the hood, the ROG XBOX Ally X20 is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, paired with 24GB of LPDDR5X-8000 memory and a 1TB M.2 2280 SSD. The storage can also be upgraded.
For connectivity, the handheld supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. It features a USB4 port with DisplayPort 2.1 and Power Delivery 3.0, which is also compatible with Thunderbolt 4, alongside a second USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with DisplayPort 2.1 and Power Delivery 3.0. There is also a microSD Express card reader and a 3.5mm combo audio jack.
The ROG XBOX Ally X20 is powered by an 80Wh battery and measures 300.0 x 121.1 x 51.3mm, weighing 756g. Its controls include Xbox-inspired ergonomics, impulse triggers, full-size TMR joysticks, HD haptics, a six-axis IMU, two assignable back buttons and a transforming D-pad.
Included in the bundle is the ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR Glasses, which can be connected directly to the ROG XBOX Ally X20 using a single USB Type-C cable. The glasses feature Sony Micro OLED displays with a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution per eye, a 120Hz refresh rate that can reach 240Hz with Frame Rate Boost enabled, and a 0.01ms response time.
The ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 also offers up to 700 nits brightness, a 57-degree field of view and a virtual screen size of up to 171 inches when viewed from four metres away. It supports native 3DoF environment understanding, instant 3D and 3D mode, while electrochromic dimming provides three tint levels.
For audio, the AR glasses feature built-in speakers with sound by Bose, alongside a noise-cancelling microphone array. The glasses connect through USB Type-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode and weigh 90g.
The bundle also includes a dbrand Killswitch case for the ROG XBOX Ally X20, featuring a kickstand, gold-and-black accents and ruggedised grips. dbrand has also created a custom face skin with a circuit board pattern inspired by the internal components of the handheld, while joystick covers feature the ROG logo.
A custom Pelican Protector Case is included as well, featuring red ROG latches and a 20th anniversary badge for transporting the handheld and its accessories. The bundle also comes with a 68W charger.
The ROG XBOX Ally X20 Bundle is available for pre-order from 2 October at 8pm onwards for RM10,999. The bundle includes the ROG XBOX Ally X20, ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR Glasses, Pelican Protector Case and dbrand Killswitch.
Customers who place their pre-orders between 2 and 15 October will also receive an exclusive ROG Ally Limited Edition Loot Box and gain access to 20% off purchase-with-purchase deals on selected ROG gaming gear.
