ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition and ROG Flow X16 Officially Launched in Malaysia

Announced a few months ago, those who are anticipating the latest version of the ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition and the ROG Flow X16 can finally rejoice! Just recently, ASUS ROG Malaysia announced the local pricing for both laptops, together with variants and availability.

The ROG Strix SCAR is one of ROG’s fast-selling laptops and the SCAR 17 Special Edition is the cherry on top. The laptop houses the latest hardware and is fitted with a custom vapor chamber, not to mention the liquid metal applied on both the CPU and GPU to allow the SCAR 17 to achieve higher performance figures. In addition to that, the SCAR 17 SE also has a great display that is QHD with a 240Hz of refresh rate and a 3ms response time. The ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition will be priced at RM17,999.

The ROG Flow X16 is a 16-inch thin and light convertible laptop that could also do some gaming. The laptop is housed with the latest AMD 6000 Series CPU and an NVIDIA RTX GPU with support for ASUS’s XG Mobile system, which is an external GPU system with high speed, and low bandwidth capabilities. Besides that, the laptop also comes equipped with the ROG Nebula HDR Display, which is a QHD 165Hz mini LED panel with 1,100 nits of peak brightness and a 100% DCI-P3 Color Gamut. All these features are packed in a small package weighing in at just 2.1 kg. The Flow X16 will have two variants with differences in its displays, the pricing for the Mini LED version is RM11,999 and the IPS version is RM9,499.
