Xiaomi Introduces RedmiBook 15 in Malaysia

Xiaomi has announced the arrival of the RedmiBook 15, making it the very first Xiaomi laptop officially entering the Malaysian market.

Just like many other laptops in this price range, the RedmiBook 15 sports a 15.6-inch Full HD anti-glare display. Powering the laptop is either an Intel Core i3-1115G4 or Intel Core i5-11300H processor with 8GB DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB SSD storage. Note that the Core i5 model also comes with the Intel Iris Xe graphics.

The laptop is pretty thin and light, but it still comes with a range of I/O ports, including USB 3.0, HDMI 1.4, an Ethernet port, a Realtek RTS5176 Card Reader, and an audio jack.

The laptop also has 2W stereo speakers and a built-in 720p webcam. It runs on Windows 11 Home and Xiaomi claims that the 46Whr battery will provide around 10 hours of battery life.

The RedmiBook 15 will be available in Malaysia from June 6, 2022, at RM2,399 for the i3 variant (8GB+256GB) and RM2,799 for the i5 variant (8GB+512GB). Both variants will be available for purchase at all Authorized Xiaomi stores in Malaysia and online on official Lazada and Shopee stores.

For a limited time, the laptop will be available for purchase at a special early-bird price of RM1,899 for the i3 variant and RM2,499 for the i5 variant. In addition, customers who purchase their RedmiBook at Authorized Xiaomi stores will also receive a free Mi Casual Backpack (worth RM69), while stocks last.
