realme Malaysia today officially launched the realme 5s, which is a refreshed version of the realme 5 that launched a couple of months ago.
The main difference between the 5s and 5 is the phone now comes in the new Crystal Red color option. Additionally, the phone now also has a 48MP Samsung GM1 main camera, accompanied by an 8MP 119° ultra-wide camera, 2MP portrait camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The phone now also able to record 4K videos through its ultra-wide camera, and it also supports 720p@240fps slow-mo video recording. Selfie wise, it still has the same 13MP front-facing shooter.
The rest of the specs remain the same — Snapdragon 665 AIE processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage, 6.5-inch HD+ screen, 5,000mAh battery, and ColorOS 6.0 realme Edition.
Retailing at RM799, the realme 5s will be available from December 14th onwards, while its first online sale will be on December 19th via Shopee. Those who purchase the device from Shopee will receive a phone case and realme Buds 2 for free.
