POCO M3 Officially Announced, Coming on November 27

POCO Global just announced another new phone! The POCO M3 is the company’s most affordable device ever launched and it’ll be coming to Malaysia on November 27.

The POCO M3 sports a 6.53-inch Full HD+ Dot Drop display protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It also has a sided-mounted fingerprint sensor since the phone doesn’t have an OLED panel. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. Additionally, it also comes with a dual-speaker system, not a common feature on a smartphone at this price tag.

In terms of camera, the phone has a triple-camera setup — 48MP main + 2MP macro + 2MP depth sensor, as expected. Selfie wise, it has an 8MP front-facing camera. The phone also packs a massive 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. However, POCO will include a 22.5W in-box charger for the phone. The company claims that the phone is expected to last over 5 days under light usage, and slightly below 3 days under moderate usage. It takes roughly 1.5 days for the battery to be fully drained under heavy usage.

Starting from November 27, the POCO M3 will be available in Malaysia in two variants — 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB, in Cool Blue and Power Black. The availability of POCO Yellow will be announced at a later date. Both variants will be available for purchase online exclusively on Xiaomi Official Store Global on Lazada at a price of RM599 and RM699 respectively.

Consumers who are keen to purchase can grab the devices at early bird prices of RM499 for the 4GB+64GB variant and RM599 for the 4GB+128GB variant, while stocks last. In addition, those who purchase POCO M3 on November 27 will receive a free gift, Mi In-Ear Headphones Basic Piston Earphone, while stocks last.
