POCO F4 and POCO X4 GT Officially Announced

POCO has officially announced two new phones at its global launch event — POCO F4 and POCO X4 GT. Both are the latest devices with best-in-class chipsets that deliver powerful performance while remaining budget-friendly.

POCO F4

The POCO F4 is equipped with a 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset together with the upgraded LiquidCool Technology 2.0 for high-level performance. The phone comes with flagship-level LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage for faster data access.

The phone sports a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED DotDisplay with a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The screen has a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, which is around the same as most flagship devices. The phone also comes with dual speakers verified with Dolby Atmos, which deliver dynamic and crystal-clear sound.

In terms of camera, the phone has a triple-camera setup on the back — 64MP main with OIS + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro. For the first time, POCO has included OIS on the primary camera for better image quality. Its 4K-equipped camera setup also comes with tons of features, including Panoramic Selfie Mode, Night Mode, AI Skyscaping 4.0, and AI Erase 2.0. The phone also has a 20MP front camera for taking selfies.

The POCO F4 comes with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 67W turbo charging, taking only 38 minutes to charge up to 100%.

POCO X4 GT

As for the POCO X4 GT, it is powered by a 5nm MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor with flagship-level LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The phone also comes with LiquidCool Technology 2.0 cooling system to keep it cool while reaching peak performance most of the time.

The phone sports a 6.6-inch Full HD+ 20.5:9 LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 270Hz touch sampling rate. POCO claims that the phone has the best LCD display in the market with one billion colors and supports DCI-P3 wide color gamut for sharper contrasts and richer details on-screen. It also comes with Dolby Atmos-certified stereo speakers.

The POCO X4 GT features a triple-camera setup on the back — 64MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro. The phone also has a 16MP front camera for taking selfies.

Like the F4, it also supports 67W turbo charging, but the battery capacity has been bumped up to 5,080mAh. POCO claims that the phone can be charged up to 100% in just 46 minutes.

The POCO F4 will be available in Malaysia from June 27, in three colors — Moonlight Silver, Night Black, and Nebula Green. The phone will come in two variants — RM1,599 for the 6GB+128GB variant and RM1,699 for the 8GB+256GB variant.

The POCO X4 GT will be available from June 30, in three colors — Black, Blue, and Silver. The phone will come in two variants — RM1,499
for the 8GB+128GB variant and RM1,599 for the 8GB+256GB variant.
