POCO F3 and X3 Pro Officially Announced

POCO Global today has officially announced two new flagship smartphones — the POCO F3 and X3 Pro. Both devices will be available in Malaysia by this month, retailing from RM999.

POCO F3

The POCO F3 sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED ultra-tiny DotDisplay with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is a 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor with up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The F3 has a triple-camera setup on the back — 48MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 5MP telemacro. In terms of selfies, the phone has a 20MP front-facing camera. The phone packs a 4,520mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, which will take just 52 minutes to 100%.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, 5G connectivity, IR blaster, and Wi-Fi 6 support. The phone runs on MIUI 12 for POCO based on Android 11.

The POCO F3 will be available from March 27, and comes in two storage variants — 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, retailing at RM1,399 and RM1,699 respectively. The phone can be purchased at Xiaomi Official Store Global on Lazada and comes in three colors — Arctic White, Night Black, and Deep Ocean Blue.

For a limited time, from March 27 (00:00 GMT+8) to March 28 (23:59 GMT+8), the POCO F3 will be available at a special price of RM1,299 for the 6GB+128GB and RM1,499 for the 8GB+256GB, while stocks last.

POCO X3 Pro

As for the POCO X3 Pro, it’s slightly tuned down with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ 120Hz LCD DotDisplay. Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The POCO X3 Pro packs a quad-camera setup on the back — 48MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro camera + 2MP depth sensor. It also has the same 20MP front-facing camera for taking selfies. It has a 5,160mAh battery that also supports 33W fast charging.

Unlike the POCO F3, the POCO X3 Pro doesn’t have 5G connectivity and its dual speakers don’t come with Dolby Atmos tech.

Like the POCO F3, the POCO X3 Pro will be available in two storage variants — 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, priced at RM999 and RM1,299 respectively, and can be purchased at Xiaomi Official Store Global on Shopee. The phone will be available from March 24 and comes in three colors — Phantom Black, Frost Blue, and Metal Bronze.
